Admission to the indoor areas between the halls will begin at 11:00 a.m. (Friday) and 8:00 a.m. (Saturday and Sunday) to ensure that the admission situation is as relaxed as possible for our visitors.

Note: Holders of a VIP ticket have access to the halls half an hour before the official opening and can also take up to two accompanying persons with them to the event earlier. The two accompanying persons require their own ticket for the respective day of the event.

J-Rave:

Entry

There are two visitor entrances on the grounds:

The North Entrance is ideal for visitors arriving by tram, as the U78 line stops right next to it.

You can reach the South Entrance either by taking one of the free shuttle buses from parking area P1 or by taking the U78 or U79 lines and then getting off at the Messe Ost / Stockumer Kirchstraße stop. From there, you can follow Stockumer Kirchstraße to the South Entrance or alternatively, take bus line 722, which continues to the South Entrance.


Bag checks and ticket inspections will be carried out at both entrances before you enter the indoor grounds. You will also find cloakrooms operated by the trade fair, where you can leave luggage and clothing for a fee, and our Visitor Information desk, which will be happy to assist you with any questions.

You can find the DoKomi relatively easily by car by entering the address into your navigation system.

The A44 motorway runs directly past the exhibition grounds. Take exit 29, Messe/Arena, to reach the two large parking lots P1 and P2.

A free shuttle bus takes you directly to the entrances.

Bus Shuttle

The bus takes you from parking lots P1 and P2 to DoKomi and back again in the evening.

Pick-ups/Drop-offs

If someone is driving you to the convention or would like to pick you up, you can briefly park your car at the following locations:

  • Messe Süd Entrance – P9 is signposted – Navigation system: Stockumer Kirchstraße, 40474 Düsseldorf – Attention: Access is only possible via "Am Hain" or Kaiserswerther Straße
  • Messe Nord Entrance – P2 / Rheinbad – Navigation system: 40474 Düsseldorf, Am Stockumer Höfe – Follow the signs for Rheinbad

  • Main taxi stand for Messe Nord: Beckbuschstraße
  • Main taxi stand for Messe Süd: at the trade fair administration building/high-rise building – Messeplatz 1
Directions by train

You can easily get to DoKomi on the U78 / U79 tram line and the 722 bus:

From the city center, you can take the tram U78 to the stop "Merkur Spiel Arena / Messe Nord" directly next to the north entrance. Alternatively, you can take the U78 or U79 to "Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstraße", from where you can reach the south entrance by foot - just follow the signs to the fair.

Security advice

The following items are NOT allowed onto the fairgrounds: Alcohol (with the exception of the 18+ area, where ONLY the alcohol sold there may be consumed) drugs, knives, real weapons and cosplay weapons that do not comply with the weapons rules.

Allowed are: Plastic bottles, spray bottles for deodorant, hairspray, etc.
